About Green Dahlia:

Green Dahlia is a small retail flower shop located in Middletown CT, 06457 offering a range of design styles that run from traditional to contemporary/modern. This shop may be new, but owner Catherine Epright has over 10 years experience with floral design! She began her floral career at Datura, A Modern Garden in 2001 (which locals may remember from their old location in
the Main St. Market in Middletown) and has been working with them ever since. Though the retail storefront is gone, Datura still keeps very active in the World of Wedding decor check out their fantastic website www.amoderngarden.com to see what is hot in floral decor this year!

We are open Tuesday – Friday 11-7pm, and available Mon- Sunday for Pre-arranged Deliveries, Pick-ups, and Appointments or simply by chance.

In an ideal world, orders are placed a day or more in advance, allowing us to bring in whatever we need fresh. Because we are so new to the scene, it just doesn’t make sense for us to bring in a large amount of flowers once a week; instead we receive small quantities frequently.

We would like to become as Eco Friendly as we possibly can, and the industry is evolving in that direction as well. We support local farms and feature local product as it is available to us. We compost our green waste, and recycle as much as possible. Customers are encouraged to bring their owncontainers for us to re-use, and we offer weekly revolving flower deliveries where we pick up the old containers and replace them with new ones on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
